There are opposing views about a return to action being expressed by Premier League managers on the eve of a crucial vote on Project Restart.
Clubs from England's top-flight are voting tomorrow on whether a first phase of training can begin.
The training would adhere to the UK government's guidelines to avoid the spread of the coronavirus so players would train in small groups, maintaining social distancing rules.
Players such as Watford captain Troy Deeney and West Ham midfielder Mark Noble have voiced concerns over the return.
Burnley manager Sean Dyche has said that his squad is ready whenever they are given clearance to restart.
"I think we're just waiting for the actual go-aheads now," Dyche told Sky Sports.
"I think there's a load of protocols being put in place and all the medical side and the scientific side has been added in.
"So I'm hopeful. I'm more hopeful now than a month ago."
It has been mooted that June 12 will be the day that matches resume in the Premier League.
However, in an interview with the Sunday Telegraph, Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce has urged those in charge to delay the restart as it will take several weeks to get player back to the desired level of fitness.
"We've listened to what has been said and, with the precautions taken, we will get back to work and start phase one," said Bruce.
He added, "We need enough preparation time to get these players into shape or they are just going to fall down like a pack of cards.
"Most of the managers have the same concerns. We would need at least six weeks. I don't see how we can play games until the back end of June.
"You have to remember that they have had eight weeks off and that is probably the longest break some of these players have had in their careers."
