The Premier League is due to hold another emergency meeting on Thursday to discuss what to do with the rest of the season.
There's speculation about whether the season will finish at all due to the COVID-19 outbreak - and there's currently no rules in place to determine whether a title would be awarded, or about European qualification, promotion and relegation.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and Chelsea winger Callum Hodson Odoi have contracted the virus and a host of other teams are in self isolation with the EFL and Premier League suspended until at least April 4th.
Liverpool are currently 25-points clear at the summit of the Premier League table, needing just two more wins to land their first crown in 30 years but West Ham vice-chairman Karren Brady believes the campaign should now be declared null and void.
Brady wrote in The Sun it would be 'fair and reasonable' to write off the season, while admitting it would be a 'huge blow' to Jurgen Klopp's runaway leaders:
"There is no dodging the possibility that all levels in the EFL, as well as the Premier League, will have to be cancelled and this season declared null and void because if the players can't play the games can't go ahead.
'The PL hopes that an interlude of three weeks from today will enable it to restart but that may well be dreamland.
"So what if the league cannot be finished? As games in both the PL and in the EFL are affected, the only fair and reasonable thing to do is declare the whole season null and void."
