Keith Earls will travel to Japan with the rest of the Ireland squad later this week.
The IRFU issued an update this morning on the squad set to fly out on Wednesday.
All 31 members of Joe Schmidt's squad have been declared fit for the tournament following the win over Wales at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday.
The Munster winger was forced off during the second half with a quad injury but Earls has been given the all-clear to take his place on the plane.
It was the 31-year-old's first appearance in the warm-up games due to some tendonitis in his knee.
