Solskjaer not drawn on Dybala speculation

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer won't be drawn on speculation linking them with a move for Juventus attacker Paulo Dybala.

Reports have suggested that the Italian champions would be willing to allow the Argentina international move to Old Trafford in part exchange for Romelu Lukaku.

Solskjaer was asked to comment on that speculation after their 1-0 friendly win against Kristiansund in Norway last night.

"I'm not here to talk about rumours about other teams' players. We're working on one or two cases," he told Manchester United's official website.

"It's 10 days or so before we start the league and hopefully we can announce a fresh face or two."

Solskjaer was coming up against his son Noah, who made his debut for the Norwegian side.

"Noah makes his debut for them in front of 28,000. It’s not very often a Norwegian boy does that. Elijah was next to me and he enjoyed it. It’s what it’s about when you come back here. Their players have been in our dressing room and swapped shirts and took pictures.

"Our boys have been absolutely outstanding. They’re a joy to see, how the group camaraderie is and the good atmosphere, it’s really good and hopefully, we’ll get that into the results when the Premier League starts.”

The United manager also confirmed that defender Eric Bailly will be sidelined until December following an operation,

Ivory Coast international Bailly suffered a knee injury in the Red Devils' game against Tottenham in China last week.

“He’s had an operation, he'll miss the best part of four or five months. Hopefully, we’ll get him back around about Christmas.

”It was positive news from the surgeon, he had the operation this morning. He was positive it was all repaired and that he’ll be fine".
