West Ham goalkeeper Adrian stepped up to score the winning penalty as the Hammers reached the FA Cup fourth round after an epic penalty shootout win over Everton in tonight's third round replay.
Adrian got his chance to seal victory immediately after his opposite number Joel Robles smacked his penalty off the crossbar.
The high-scoring shootout, which finished 9-8 to West Ham, followed a pulsating game which had ended 2-2 after extra time.
Enner Valencia had put West Ham in front early in the second half, before Everton were reduced to ten men when Aiden McGeady was shown a second yellow card for a rash challenge.
However, Kevin Mirallas gave the Toffees the equaliser when he curled in a free-kick.
In extra-time, Romelu Lukaku gave Everton the advantage but Carlton Cole levelled seven minutes from time to send the game to a shootout.
West Ham now go on to face Bristol City in the next round.
