It's safe to say that Liverpool fans haven't quite taken to Dejan Lovren since he was signed from Southampton last summer for £20 million.
He's had a rocky start to his career at Anfield, but based on today's performance, he'll really need to make some drastic improvements very quickly.
He was guilty of giving the ball away cheaply at times, but he also made some very poor decisions which lead directly to West Ham scoring as they ran out 3-0 winners, despite being the underdogs.
As a result, he's come in for some very heavy criticism on social media by Liverpool fans, and these three moments in the game perhaps highlight just why he's being singled out.
In the first instance, he stepped out of defence with the ball at his feet, but seemed to be caught between two minds as to what he wanted to do with it. His final choice was to do a stepover before losing possession.
Secondly, his tackling was not as accurate as it could have been, as he ended up giving Kouyaté a kick in the midriff rather than trying to win the ball.
While those two moments were not his finest in a Liverpool shirt, it is this third one that has most people talking, as it lead directly to a goal and could easily have been avoided.

Today's result has given Brendan Rodgers plenty to think about already, but Lovren's place in the team might be one of those issues that he now has to give some consideration to.
