As one of Ireland's most capped players ever, there are very few people who don't know what the Donegal man sounds like.
However, it seems that those working behind the scenes in Sky Sports News are less familiar with the Irishman, as they were duped into believing that they were about to get an interview with the Republic of Ireland international live on air.
Not only did the prankster have the accent and tone of Given's voice completely wrong, but they didn't even prepare a decent answer to the first question.
Thankfully, they quickly realised that they were being had and cut the interview short, while the real Given, certified with a blue tick, took to Twitter to wish his Stoke City team-mate well.
Keep the head up pal @JackButland_One you'll be back in no time 🙌 #gkunion
