Sometimes you feel as though a referee really doesn't want your team to win. In Accrington Stanley's case, it might actually be true.
The League Two side, who are chasing automatic promotion, had referee Trevor Kettle rule out a goal just as the half had ended. The ball struck the net just a second after Kettle had blown for half-time leaving the Accrington Stanley players furious and even the manager running onto the field in an effort to make sense of the decision and to calm his players down.
The game ended up finishing 0-0 and Accrington Stanley also had their goalkeeper sent off but they will feel they were robbed of all three points based on the questionable timing of Kettle's half-time whistle.
