WATCH: Man United fans may not like to be reminded of Diego Tristan

As Deportivo de la Coruna get used to life in the top half of La Liga after some time away from the big-time, it's a reminder of a bygone era.

Just over 15 years ago, the side from the North-West of Spain were among the best in La Liga, beating the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona to the league title in 2000, taking the Copa del Rey two years later and regularly appearing in the Champions League.

Among their victims on the field in Europe was Manchester United with Depor famously triumphing 3-2 at Old Trafford in the 2001-02 group stages.
