Whether Jack Byrne has any chance of featuring in Pep Guardiola's plans at parent club Manchester City is unknown.
But the Ireland under-21 midfielder, who trained with Martin O'Neill's seniors in March, is continuing to impress on loan at Dutch side SC Cambuur.
They might be bottom of the Eredivisie this season, but Dubliner Byrne has been one of their shining lights, scoring four goals from midfield and adding three assists.
7 - Only Bartholomew Ogbeche (9G 2A) has more goals (4) and assists (3) for SC Cambuur than Jack Byrne this Eredivisie season. Prodigy.

Many of the 20-year-old's goals this season have been excellent and he delivered again today in a 6-2 loss against title-chasing PSV Eindhoven:

With a place at Euro 2016 seemingly unlikely, he is an exciting prospect for the campaigns to come at least.
