One of the quirks of modern football is that we don't see enough Irish footballers plying their trade in the continental leagues.
At one time, Tony Cascarino (Marseille, Nancy), Liam Brady (Juventus and others in Italy), Frank Stapleton (Ajax and Anderlecht) spent time outside the traditional playing zones of England, Scotland and Ireland.
And 15 years ago, Robbie Keane briefly stalked the fields of Serie A with Inter Milan.
That period was our main feature on this week's Team 33 as The Gentleman Ultra's Richard Hall joined us to look back on the reasons why the Ireland striker's time with Inter did not last longer.

Keane never scored in Serie A but he did find the net for Inter in other competitions.
Just two minutes into the Supercoppa Italiana final against Lazio on September 8th 2000, Keane scored in a 4-3 defeat:
Then only 20 years of age, he also scored in the UEFA Cup win over Polish side Ruch Chorzow:
