On Saturday night, Gary Lineker proved that he was a man of his word as he took to the Match of the Day studios in nothing but his underwear.
Last season, clearly excited by the form his team were showing, the former Leicester and Bacelona player stated that if the Foxes managed to win the league, that he would present the show in his pants.
YES! If Leicester win the @premierleague I'll do the first MOTD of next season in just my undies.

He wasn't the only one to make a regrettable promise as Claudio Ranieri's unfancied side proved to be resilient in their march to the title last season, but he kept his end of the bargain, perhaps given the sheer amount of attention garnered by the tweet he sent.
With the whole summer to prepare for his forfeit, Lineker appeared on screens in millions of homes wearing a pair of Leicester branded boxers (what else) as he presented the first Match of the Day of the 2016/17 Premier League season.

However, he more than likely won't have enjoyed the Foxes' first result of the season, after they were defeated by a Hull side that many had backed to pick up a record low tally of points. The Tigers have not added to their squad since promotion and still don't have a manager in place after Steve Bruce departed the club during the summer.
If they show that type of form for much longer, then we assume he won't be making too many more wagers on Twitter.
