There are countless reasons why professional footballers are paid to play the game.
They make the impossible look effortless. While fans are regularly amazed by what players can do in games, footballers regularly release the shackles in training.
Bayern Munich star Douglas Costa took to Instagram on Monday night, to show how good he is from the penalty spot, even when not facing the goals. Costa back-heeled the ball into the top left corner, leaving goalkeeper Tom Starke motionless on the line.
The Brazilian 26-year-old joined the Bavarian giants at the start of last season and scored seven goals in his first season with the club. With penalties like the one scored in training, maybe Costa can bring that form into a game this year.
