One of the saddest sights in football in recent years has been Fernando Torre' sporting decline.
After forgettable spells at Chelsea and AC Milan, the Spain striker has returned to boyhood club Atletico Madrid.
He had never scored in a derby at the Santiago Bernabeu against Real Madrid. But one minute into tonight's Copa del Rey match between the city rivals, he found the net to score his first goal since returning home:
And he did not stop there. The 30-year-old added a second for an Atletico side holding a two-goal lead from the first leg (Ramos and Ronaldo have scored for Real tonight so the aggregate gap remains the same):
