On Episode 1 of Newstalk's Team 33 podcast, Joe Coffey dusted off his vinyl collection to tell us about the stories behind the making of some of the catchiest and cheesiest songs in World Cup history.
So from England's 1970 hit Back Home to Germany's Village People-infused Far Away In America and Scotland's depressing 1998 attempt Don't Come Home Too Soon, relive the World Cup songs in the Team 33 podcast below or subscribe via iTunes:
Episode 1 of Team 33 also sees Richard, Raf, Joe and Dan also analyse the German national team with Sky Sport Germany's Gernot Bauer and take the time machine back to 1994 to relive Diego Maradona's drug shame.

Put Em' Under Pressure (1990)
