Transfer Talk: West Ham look to Wilfried Bony to solve striker dilemna

It's been a tough first fortnight for West Ham United in the Premier League.

Andre Ayew faces four-months on the sidelines after picking up a thigh injury against Chelsea on the opening weekend of the season. Ahead of the Bournemouth game last Sunday, Andy Carroll confirmed he will miss the next six weeks with a knee injury.

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic is hoping to solve his striking issues with the short-term loan of Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony. The Ivory Coast international has been deemed surplus to requirement by new manager Pep Guardiola.

The Sun claim that Bony may join the east-London club until January. After that, he is expected to move east to the Chinese Super League.

Arsenal's quest to buy a centre-back is continuing at a snail's pace. Despite numerous bids for Valencia's Shkodran Mustafi, Arsene Wenger is also keeping an eye of West Brom defender and Northern Ireland international Jonny Evans.

West Brom have valued the former Manchester United player at £25million according to the Daily Telegraph. Tony Pulis will not consider allowing Evans leave the club unless that valuation is matched.

Joe Hart's immediate future may lie on the bench at Manchester City. The England goalkeeper looked set to join Everton on loan for the season, but his wage demands are making the Liverpool club second-guess their offer to Hart.

The Daily Mail claim that bringing Hart to Goodison Park for a year could cost them £7million in total. The strong start to Maarten Stekelenburg's Everton career may persuade Ronald Koeman to stick with the Dutch international
