Transfer Talk: John Stones eyeing move to Manchester City

He was the subject of interest from Chelsea last summer, but it looks like John Stones will finally leave Everton in the coming weeks.

The England defender has told Everton's hierarchy that he wants to leave the club, and join Pep Guardiola's revolution at Manchester City, according to the Liverpool Echo. The paper claim that Stones does not want to return to Everton for pre-season training, and wants to have a clean start with City.

A £50million fee is expected for the former Barnsley defender, with Everton already setting their sights on Napoli defender and Senegal international Kalidou Koulibaly.

Swansea City are preparing to make a £10million bid for Leicester City striker Leonardo Ulloa. The Argentine striker scored six goals for the Premier League champions last season but was primarily used as a impact sub.

The Telegraph claim that Ulloa will be brought to Wales to replace Andre Ayew and Bafetimbi Gomis, who are both expected to leave the club in the coming weeks.

Long-time Arsenal prospect Gonzalo Higuain could be allowed move to the club, if Napoli accept a £42million bid and Olivier Giroud.

The French striker scored three goals at Euro 2016 as the hosts reached the Final, but Higuain just completed the season of his life, scoring 36 goals last season in Serie A. The Sun claim that numerous Italian outfits have reported Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is preparing to make a bid.

Numerous clubs are still interested in signing Wales' Euro 2016 striker Hal Robson-Kanu, but it looks like he may be tempted by a move to the Chinese Super League.

The Daily Mirror claim that the Welsh striker has been offered £100,000-a-week to head to the Far East. Jiangsu Suning and Beijing Guoan are reportedly interested in having the former Reading-man join their teams.
