Galway United have parted company with manager Tommy Dunne after nearly three years in charge.
The Dubliner saved the club from relegation last year but had come under pressure this season after a disappointing run of results.
Galway are ninth in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division, 11 points clear of third from bottom Finn Harps.
On Tuesday night, they suffered a 5-3 loss to title-chasing Cork City and also lost 4-2 to Shamrock Rovers last Friday.
Dunne had led Galway to promotion in his first season in charge, having previously managed Cork City for three years.
