On last night's Team 33, we had intended to Goggle Box the Ireland vs Wales game.
Fortunately, for technical reasons (i.e. we couldn't get the TV in studio tuned into the Nations League match!), we had to abandon the pain of watching another poor performance and defeat and relaying our feelings directly.
So Joe Coffey, Killian Woods, Derek Ryan and I decided to discuss other matters on and off the pitch.
For the first two, Joe and Killian, they took us into the world of FIFA Ultimate Team which Derek and I would not be particularly familiar with, having given up FIFA long ago, stepped into the world of Football Manager and are no longer involved in digital football after multiple sackings and relegations.
"This is very nerdy now, but I don't do Fantasy Football so this is something that's a little bit like that," said Joe of FIFA Ultimate Team.
Killian continued the point: "For anyone who doesn't know, it's like Panini stickers on steroids. It's essentially feeding into that nostalgia for Panini stickers and collecting footballers but you also get to play with them in FIFA and create your own little teams."
