Liverpool's Champions League hopes have been given a huge boost, after beating Southampton at St Mary's this evening.
Philippe Coutinho opening the scoring with a superb long-range effort in the 3rd minute. Raheem Sterling made it 2-0 17 minutes from time.
Romelu Lukaku's diving header two minutes from time saw Everton draw 2-2 with the Premier League's bottom side Leicester at Goodison Park - although it was Matthew Upson with the final touch into his own goal.
Leicester had led, after goals from David Nugent and Esteban Cambiasso cancelled out Steven Naismith's Toffees opener.
Tottenham came from 2-0 down to rescue a 2-2 draw from their London derby with West Ham at White Hart Lane.
Harry Kane won a penalty five minutes into stoppage time - he saw it saved by Adrian, but converted the rebound to salvage a point.
