Stoke City striker Joselu has pulled no punches in his criticism of Manchester City after the Premier League side's limp defeat to Real Madrid in last night's Champions League semi-final.
As ex-Ireland defender Kenny Cunningham said on Off The Ball last night, City were disappointing and expects Pep Guardiola to revamp the squad when he takes over as manager this summer.
And Spanish forward Joselu was very impressed judging from his comments to radio station Cadena Ser.
"Manchester City had no attitude in the game. They almost made it to the finals despite wandering on the pitch," he said.
"Manchester City have had a sh**ty season. My team-mates were saying in the Whatsapp group that Manchester City played like a group of friends kicking the ball about at the school's playing ground.
"Manchester City played with no attitude whatsoever and didn't deserve to be in the Champions League semi-finals."
Joselu was equally scathing of Yaya Toure for his performance in Madrid in comparison to against Stoke, saying: "Toure was wandering on the pitch. He should have run [in Madrid] rather than against us in the league."
