Stephen Bradley was full of praise for his team after Shamrock Rovers' impressive 3-1 victory over Bohemians this evening.
It was his first game in charge of the side in the Premier Division and he took a lot of positives from his side's victory.
"It's a great result," he told Eir Sport after the game. "It gives everyone a lift and obviously Bohs are our biggest rivals so to go and beat them so convincingly was great. The boys put in a great shift and the quality of play was excellent.
"After the missed penalty you think to yourself is it going to be one of those nights but we were playing so well and working well as a team.
"For a long time this team has gone [a goal] behind and not come back and I told them before the game that if we go down a goal, nothing changes. We still play the way we set out. They did that and they were brilliant."
With regards to his future with the club he said: "The plan is to [stay on] as long as possible until the end of the season and then help the club get the right man in for next year because it's important that this club gets the right manager next."
