Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has contradicted his club president's claim that he wanted to leave the team.
Florentino Perez had suggested that the 33-year-old had asked to leave on a free transfer to join a Chinese club.
But Ramos, whose contract runs until 2021, refuted that.
The veteran defender appeared at a press conference and fielded questions from Spain-based reporters.

In relaxed form, the Spain international told reporters that he intends to see out his contract.
"I'm a Madridista and I'd like to spend the rest of my career here," he said.
"I don't want to leave Real Madrid and I've always said my dream is to retire here."
Ramos added that the day he leaves the club will be when his body can't handle the demands anymore.
He also claimed money is not an issue for him in regards to his future.
"We didn't discus the financial side for even a minute. I've always said that there are two important things: The fans and the president," he added.
Like Father and Son
He did confirm that an offer from China is on the table. The four-time Champions League winner also played down talk of a rift with Perez, who he clashed with after the Champions League exit to Ajax.
"I have a relationship with the president, like he said, that is like father and son," he said.
"We like each other very much because ultimately we've working together for many years. I think he always showed me plenty of affection.
"It's always been a father and son relationship but who hasn't had a row with their father. The best solution for us has always been to sit down face to face and not let third parties interfere."
