The Meath native was included in the club's celebrations last night.
Liverpool chief executive Peter Moore paid tribute to Irish fan Sean Cox after Liverpool's Premier League win.
"Number 19 is finally here. It’s for our millions of fans, near and far...we miss you. It’s for the Reds that fell to the virus. It’s for my dad, who first took me to Anfield in 1959. It’s for Sean Cox, smiling in Ireland right now. And it’s for the 96, who will never be forgotten," he tweeted last night.

Liverpool make history
Last night, The Reds are confirmed champions without kicking a ball and sit atop the Premier League with 86 points after 31 matches. It is their first top-flight title since 1990.
Chelsea beat City 2-1, with a goal from Christian Pulisic and a penalty from Willian leaving Kevin De Bruyne's free-kick a consolation.
The result means that City can no longer catch Liverpool, to copper-fasten a league finish that has long been known.
