Leicester celebrating in style
The sporting world is still getting its head around the fact that Leicester City have been crowned champions of England for the first time in their history, but the club are celebrating in style.
Prior to kick-off this evening, the King Power stadium was hopping as the Foxes walked out to a guard of honour formed by the Everton players, which was followed by emotional scenes as Andrea Bocelli performed Nessun Dorma for those in attendance.
On the pitch Leicester put in a classy performance against a very poor Everton team, with a Jamie Vardy double and Andy King strike keeping the party going.
Relegation battle takes a twist
Just when it looked like Newcastle had found some form and were likely to avoid the drop, they fired blanks in Villa Park this afternoon, while Sunderland found form at the Stadium of Light.
It was widely expected that the Magpies would take three points against Aston Villa, leaving them just outside the relegation zone going into the final round of fixtures.
However, they now look odds on to join today's opponents in the Championship next season, as they trail rivals Sunderland by one point, having played a game more and they face Spurs in the final game at St. James Park.
Quickfire goals from Jermain Defoe and Fabio Borini turned a one goal deficit into three precious points as the Black Cats now control their Premier League fate, realistically needing just two points from two games to stay out of the bottom three.

Hope is despairing for Norwich as today's home defeat to Manchester United looks to have consigned them to England's second tier next season, as they sit four points adrift from safety and with just six points left on offer.
United's top four hopes not finished yet
Far from emphatic, but Juan Mata's goal was enough to keep United's top four dreams alive as they move to within a point of Manchester City in fourth place.

City, still licking their wounds from being knocked out of the Champions League, face Arsenal tomorrow afternoon, with a loss handing the initiative to United as they hold a game in hand over their neighbours.
Finishing in the Champions League places would hardly be a deserving achievement for an expensively assembled team of under-performers, but should results fall their way, United may find themselves mixing it with the big boys in Europe again next season, while Pep Guardiola and his team of superstars will have to settle for Europa League football.
Boro and Burnley back in the big time
Speaking of next season, we now know the identity of two of the Premier League new boys next season.
Burnley confrimed their promotion last weekend while a 3-0 victory against Charlton today means that they come up as champions, while Middlesborough's promotion was confirmed after Brighton failed to turn them over at the Riverside Stadium.

There was no winner in the winner takes all clash between Boro and Brighton, but a 1-1 draw was enough for the Teesiders to end their seven year absence from England's elite division, with their superior goal difference enough to secure second.
