Alexis Sanchez scored twice as Arsenal saw off West Brom 2-0 at the Emirates.
The Chilean winger's goals push Arsenal back up to third in the Premier League table above Manchester City, but significantly four points clear of fifth place Manchester United.
It also leaves the Gunners 10 and five points behind Leicester and Tottenham respectively.
Sanchez's first goal came on six minutes when turned his marker and fired into the bottom corner from 20 yards.
Arsenal were 2-0 up on 38 minutes when Sanchez curled in a free-kick.
West Brom did have occasional opportunities, including a Gareth McAuley header which struck the crossbar with the scores at 1-0.
