Last year's winner wins the World Player of the Year prize for the third time, beating Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer to the award.
The Real Madrid winger helped his club to the Champions League and World Club Cup trophies in 2014.
The Portugal captain has scored 33 goals in 28 games so far this season.
