Rio Ferdinand is calling on Conor McGregor to sort out heavyweight Fabricio Werdum after a spat emerged between the two.
Werdum and McGregor have been talking about each other in recent weeks after Werdum claimed that the featherweight champion had approached Rafael Cordeiro's Kings MMA gym about training there, and possibly leaving his SBG team behind.
McGregor dismissed those reports, saying "why would I want to train at that bum gym?", but the hatchet has not been buried between the two.
The feud was reignited after McGregor called Werdum out in his MMA awards acceptance speech, saying "you've got the heavyweight champion [Werdum] who's a pussy, pulling out with a sore toe. How's the heavyweight champion going to pull out with a sore toe? What kind of champion is that?".
Werdum wasn't going to take that lying down however, and he put together a rather rough photoshop afterwards that featured him and McGregor.

The picture, as football fans will recognise, was based on an image that featured Carlos Tevez and Rio Ferdinand, and the former Manchester United player got involved on Twitter, calling on McGregor to "sort this fella out" as a result of the fact he was dragging up the old image yet again.
Sort this fella out @TheNotoriousMMA otherwise guna have to enter the ring 👊ðŸ½ðŸ˜‚ https://t.co/jfxLvyM3l1

One thing's for sure, no matter the division, everyone is looking to get their name into the headlines next to the Irish star.
