Well, it's a classic Georgia-Ireland match in Tbilisi.
That is to say, it's bleak, boring and making the Off The Ball office wonder whether any two nations have produced as many boring matches as Ireland and Georgia have in recent years.
Ireland's best chance came from John Egan's header which hit the post on three minutes but beyond that there has been little to note from an Irish point of view except for who has been the worst of a bad bunch.
Republic of Ireland hit the post!
A leftwing free-kick was flicked on by John Egan, the ball bounced back out via the Loria's left upright.

A better team would have punished Ireland by now. Sloppy so far. Maybe nerves to begin the game? Just need to take a bit more time in possession and settle things down. #COYBIG #GEOIRL

Watching #GEOIRL is an exercise in blind patriotism.

Quite the reminder that it is always much more advisable to watch the Irish soccer team while completely out of your bin....#GEOIRL

James McClean has lost possession 11 times already against Georgia. 68% pass completion too. #GEOIRL #COYBIG

Wonder what Shane Long is thinking, sitting on his sofa watching James Collins’ first half performance. #GeoIRL
