The first 'Clasico' of the season between Barcelona and Real Madrid in La Liga has been moved to Wednesday the 18th of December.
It was originally meant to be played this Saturday but was postponed last week due to fears of civil unrest in Catalonia.
Protests have been taking place since nine Catalan separatist leaders were jailed for their part in a failed bid for independence.

"The Competition Committee has taken the decision after analysing the dates proposed by both clubs, who were asked to reach an agreement and they both suggested that 18 December would be the best date to play the postponed game," the Spanish Football Federation said in a statement today.
La Liga had requested last week for the fixture to be switched from Camp Nou to Santiago Bernabeu this weekend with the game in the second half of the season being played in Barcelona but both clubs opposed that proposal.
