Most novelty flags are awful.
Irish fans are infamous for scrawling over the national flag with slogans ahead of major tournaments. 2012 was the nadir with many bringing flags to Euro 2012.
We can expect the same this year, but finally a genuinely funny flag has been revealed by the Scottish Northern Ireland Supporters Club. Paraphrasing the famous "liberté, égalité fraternité" motto from the French revolution, Birmingham City striker Kyle Lafferty has been given a Gallic twist ahead of the tournament.

The striker scored seven times on the way to helping the team book their seats in France. It is the first time Northern Ireland have qualified for a major tournament. They play Germany, Poland and Ukraine in Group C this summer.
