Pep Guardiola says Yaya Touré won't play for Manchester City again, unless his agent apologises for remarks made about the club.
Dimitri Seluk said Touré was humiliated after being omitted from City's Champions League squad, after previously stating his falling from favour at the Etihad would lose the club fans in Africa.
"If City don’t win the Champions League then I hope that Pep has got the balls to say that he was wrong to humiliate a great player like Yaya," Seluk said at the time.
Touré has only played once Champions League qualifier so far this season, and today announced his retirement from international football with Cote d'Ivoire with whom he won the Africa Cup of Nations in 2015.
"He must apologise. If he doesn't, he won't play," said Guardiola.
He also added that "If he has a problem, he should speak to people at the club."

However, Seluk has refused to back down and says it is Guardiola instead who should be the one doing the apologising to managerial predecessor Manuel Pellegrini, who remained in charge for the second half of last season in the knowledge that he would be replaced by Bayern Munich's then boss.
"I will apologise to Guardiola if he will apologise to Manuel Pellegrini for what he did to him," Seluk told Sky Sports.
