Ireland and Scotland were always going to be battling for at least a playoff place in Group D of Euro 2016 qualifying and with the group finally poised between ourselves, Germany and Poland, the fixtures against Gordon Strachan's improving Scots become ever more vital.
Former Scotland international Pat Nevin was in Warsaw last night for Scotland's 2 - 2 draw against group leaders Poland and tonight he spoke to us about the impending showdown between our nations next month and for the return in June.
Nevin expects Scotland to throw everything forward at Celtic Park next month.
"Scotland are just attacking everybody just now. They're not sitting back," said Pat on the change in Scotland's philosophy under Strachan's stewardship.
Pat also spoke about replacing Strachan in the Scotland team back in their playing days, and how the former Celtic manager reacted positively.
