Southampton manager Ronald Koeman thinks UEFA President Michel Platini will be a good fit at FIFA.
Platini has confirmed that he will run to replace Sepp Blatter as FIFA president in next February's election.
The former France midfielder says he wants to bring "dignity" to FIFA if he becomes president of football's world governing body and Koeman has backed him.
"It's always important to have football people in that kind of organisation - at least a player acting on the highest level in football - and that's good for the experience and good for the clubs," he said.
