When Leicester defeated Sunderland 4-2 in the opening weekend of the Premier League season, nobody could have imagined what was to come.
Claudio Ranieri's side ended the opening weekend in second place, and have rarely been outside the top-four all season. Their lowest position was when the side dropped to eighth near the end of September.
One fan put a 50p bet on the side to win the title at 5,000/1. That meant they would be on the verge of pocketing a nice £2,500 in the coming weeks, unless there is a catastrophic collapse from Ranieri's men.
After the opening day win over Sunderland where Jamie Vardy, Marc Albrighton and two goals from Riyad Mahrez helped the fan to a 45p profit.
While most of the footballing world have been hoping for a Leicester Premier League win, it's safe to assume the unnamed fan was hoping to a Tottenham triumph.
Punter "worst cash out in history". Put 50p on @LCFC (5,000-1) start of season, cashed out 95p after 1st game v @SunderlandAFC. On @PA wire.
