Tonight on Off The Ball, Roddy Collins and Stuart Byrne joined us in studio to look back on the season and give credit where credit is due.
In terms of his Player of the Year, Stuey feels there is a "toss of the coin between" Richie Towell and Christy Fagan but explained why he eventually went for the Dundalk player, with Roddy also agreeing with that choice.
When it came to the Young Player of the Year, the lads also picked out their choices, while Dundalk's Stephen Kenny got Stuey's vote for Manager of the Year. However, Roddy felt Cork City's John Caulfield is a more deserving choice.
Also up for discussion was the significance of former Ireland midfielder Keith Fahey's decision to sign for Shamrock Rovers after a season at Pats, while Stuey also explained where the league can improve, including the need to improve the marketing of the League by marketing the players themselves.
Roddy also said he wants Pat Dolan and the likes of David McWilliams to get involved in the running of the League.
