There was a major risk that the new episode of Team 33 (which you can listen to above) would never get made. Richard, Joe and I were given the new FM15 to waste precious hours on before recording our Football Manager special. But fortunately we were able to raise our heads above our computer screens and make it into studio.
So this one does exactly what it says on the tin. We were at the Football Manager event at The Sugar Club last Wednesday along with friend of the show Conor Neville of Balls.ie.
We did an in-depth interview with one of our Team 33 World Cup contributors, the brilliant Football Manager Stole My Life author Iain Macintosh, who spoke to us about what makes the game so good and obsessive. Plus we chatted to Sports Interactive Head of Research Mark Woodger who told us about the making of the new game and how he and his team aim to take the game into the future.
