Newcastle's Jonas Gutierrez will return to football today after an eight-month absence.
The 31-year-old has successfully overcome testicular cancer, which has kept him off the field for the past few months.
Gutierrez underwent an operation in his native Argentina during September to remove a tumour, before continuing with chemotherapy.
The midfielder's last game was in April during a loan spell with Norwich, but features as an over-age player in an under-21 game against West Ham today.
