Steve McClaren and his Newcastle side are beginning to feel the frustration of their fans as they slumped to another defeat on Saturday.
Beaten 3-1 by Bournemouth, plenty of fans had seen enough and one in particular decided to let the manager know, as he threw his season ticket at the manager, landing on the top of the dugout.

As pointed out by football writer Harry de Cosemo, that wasn't the first time that the manager has frustrated fans to the point that they want to throw a season ticket at him.

A larger group of fans also let McClaren know that they were unhappy with the performances they've seen this season, chanting that he was going to get the club relegated.
"Steve McClaren you're taking us down," the NEWCASTLE fans sing. Loudly. It is all over for McClaren. #nufc

For his part, McClaren stated that "I’ve been through this with chants like that [calling for his head]. That’s the perils of being a manager – and especially of this team".
He also described the defeat as "unacceptable", saying that he understands the frustrations of the fans, but stated that he was not going to quit and backed himself and his experience to get them out of trouble.
