Neil Lennon on Celtic future | "The club is with me"

The pressure is piling on Celtic boss Neil Lennon as his side continues a poor run of form.

A 1-1 draw at home to St Johnstone might be the straw that broke the camel's back for Neil Lennon. However, if the fans are anything to go by, that straw may have broken awhile ago.

Celtic has now gone four weeks without a win and this afternoon's game has prolonged the streak.

"Bitterly disappointed we didn't win it. We're not working the goalkeeper enough, but we did have good chances. We can't keep a clean sheet either at the minute for whatever reason," Lennon told Celtic TV.

The draw puts The Bhoys 13 points adrift of league leaders Rangers. In 12 matches they've come away with two wins and conceded 28 goals.

"We've ended up chasing a game we've been in total control of. (We're) definitely lacking a bit of legs and a bit of confidence at the minute."

Does the blame lie with Neil Lennon?

Lennon believes there's an element of tentative3ness to his side's recent performances.

"Psychologically they are a little bit tentative. We're trying everything with them. They're feeling it, you can see that in their body language and their performances. We need to turn it around very very quickly."

Speaking on his future at the club, the Celtic boss is unsure what the future holds. "I don't know. I'll continue to work as best I can. I've done nothing but try to bring success to the club."

Lennon thinks he has what it takes to make a u-turn at Parkhead. "Can I turn it around? Yeah, course I can. Will I get the time to do it? Well, I've already been told the club is with me. It's a results-driven business and at the moment, the results aren't what it should be."

Responding to rumors of his future, Lennon added "If there needs to be a change so be it".
