Everton and West Brom finished dead-locked in tonight's Premier League clash at Goodison Park.
In what has been a cagey match, Everton missed a glorious chance to take the lead just before half-time.
The home side were awarded a penalty after Joleon Lescott was judged to have handled the ball inside the penalty area but Kevin Mirallas saw his effort crash off the base of the post and wide.
The Belgian is not Everton's regular penalty taker and the midfielder was surprisingly replaced at half-time by manager Roberto Martinez, which has sparked speculation that he was punished for refusing to allow the club's penalty expert, Leighton Baines to take the spot-kick.
