Leicester City had a setback last night as they drew at home to West Brom.
But this midweek has turned out to be a quite positive one for the league leaders as all the teams below them in the Top 4 (Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester City) all lost respectively to West Ham, Swansea and Liverpool respectively tonight in a variety of ways.
And Manchester United went level on points with City in fourth - albeit having played a game more - by beating Watford at home.
Football writer Miguel Delaney joined us on Off The Ball to talk about another night with huge implications for the league.
On Arsenal, he feels that there is a sense of flatness around the side's performances of late despite being with an outside shot of winning the title for the first time since 2004.
"They're so bizarre in the sense that every time they are on the brink of doing something good, they have a bad run and a bad result and every time it's about to go into full-blown crisis - which we're approaching - they get that win. They have a bizarre self-stabilising mechanism. But you do wonder if there's something deeper going on," said Miguel, who pointed out that they have been flat for quite a few weeks.
"I was there on Sunday at Old Trafford and I couldn't escape the feeling that many of their attackers looked physically shot. Even Mesut Ozil, he was trying things but he wasn't his usual sharpness and even if he was, he wasn't exactly getting the runs you would have seen in October."
