Leicester City's march towards the Premier League title remains one of sport's most intriguing stories in recent years but according to Martin O'Neill it will be "the story of the century" if Claudio Ranieri's side get over the line.
Five points is the gap between Leicester and Tottenham with seven games left in what is increasingly looking like a two-horse race. Leicester have never won the English title, having come second on one occasion in 1929.
O'Neill is one of the most famous managers in the club's history having led the side to three League Cup finals in the space of four years between 1997 and 2000. The side were victorious in two of those finals in what remains their biggest successes.

The Republic of Ireland manager was speaking on a BBC documentary that is to be broadcast on Wednesday evening about Leicester's run to the top of the table. O'Neill himself, won a league title as a player with Nottingham Forest and he sees similarities between the teams.
"There are players I can identify with who are similar in roles they are playing for each side - Riyad Mahrez is a very creative player a bit like John Robertson, your outfield genius, Jamie Vardy looks like Tony Woodcock. They are similar with the two players at the back, with Larry Lloyd and Kenny Burns, you could go right through the side and see similarities."
O'Neill claims that the story of Leicester's success is fascinating fans around Europe. "Without question there is romance about the story - people are talking about it all over Europe. I was in France recently for a Uefa meeting and it was the talk of the evening, people are really taking note. It is a great story and if they do it, it would be the story of the century."
Leicester City return to Premier League action after the international break with a game at home to Southampton on April 3rd.
