The 2016 EA Sports Cup final between St Patrick's Athletic and Limerick will be held at Markets Field next month.
The two sides will meet on Saturday September 17 and after current holders St Pat's overcame Shamrock Rovers in the semi-final, while Limerick edged past Derry City.
Limerick have cruised through the First Division this year with relative ease this year, while St Pat's sit mid table in the Premier Division.
The draw for the final was made in FAI HQ by Derek O'Neill, who previously played for both clubs, and had St Pat's manager Liam Buckley and Limerick secretary John Kennedy present.
