This time last week, only die-hard Manchester United fans would have heard of Marcus Rashford.
The 18-year-old made his debut on Thursday night for the team in the Europa League game against Midtjylland, as he was brought into the starting 11 at short notice as Anthony Martial was injured in the warm-up.
On Sunday, Rashford started his first game for the club in the Premier League, as United defeated Arsenal 3-2. In both games, the England underage international scored twice.
Manchester United are looking to tie the teenager down to a new deal and are willing to pay him £20,000 (€25,700 appox) a week after just two games in the team.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Rashford currently earns £1,000 each week at the club. A new contract would keep Rashford at Old Trafford until 2020.
With injuries to Martial and Wayne Rooney, Rashford is expected to lead the line when United face Watford on Wednesday evening.
One week, two games and four goals looks like they will have made Rashford a very rich man.
