Marc Wilson may well have some explaining to do ahead of Stoke's Premier League return.
The Ireland defender, who missed Euro 2016 through injury, made some critical comments about training sessions at his club in a Twitter Q&A with fans which are sure to anger manager Mark Hughes.
The quality of defensive training was one thing which seemed to draw Wilson's ire.
@LGH87 @Jon19861 @AnthonyBoughey centre back mate. But it would actually help if we ever did any defensive training which we dont😡

@Dale_BRG89 I think I deserve game time, only way to get fit but hey that's down to the manager. Finished last season horrifically

@AnthonyBoughey @LGH87 @Jon19861 think we have gotten away from being a tight compact unit when we lose the ball.

@oscar_bwn this is my 7th year at stoke now and I've loved every min barring last season with the injuries. Still think we could do better

Stoke conceded 55 goals in the Premier League last season in a ninth place finish. That was 10 more goals than the previous season.
However, Wilson did start a pre-season match against Rhyl after his comments were made, with Jonathan Walters scoring a hat-trick in a 6-0 win.
