Italian striker Luca Toni has announced he is to retire at the end of the season.
The 38-year-old has enjoyed a career renaissance in recent years after joining Hellas Verona in 2013. He finished the 2014/15 season in Serie A as the joint top-scorer, nine seasons after first winning the award.
Toni began his career with local team Modena in 1994, and had spells with many of Italy's most famous teams including Fiorentina, Juventus and Roma.

He spent the majority of his career in Italy, with the exception of two-and-a-half year spell with Bayern Munich and a year in the United Arab Emirates with Al Nasr. In Germany, he was part of two Bundesliga-winning sides.
The striker is in the top-20 all-time Serie A leading goalscorers and will be remembered by many for his final years in Verona. Such was Toni's form in 2014, there were calls for him to be included in Italy's World Cup squad despite him not playing for the country since 2009.
At his peak, Toni was one of the best strikers in the world. He started six of Italy's seven games (including all the knock-out matches) on the way to winning the 2006 World Cup.
His final match will come against Juventus on Sunday evening in Verona.
