Pat Nevin had plenty of criticism to go around as he spoke about Louis van Gaal's lack of communication skills, and Jurgen Klopp's insistence that the players celebrate at the Kop End after a 2-2 draw with West Brom.
Life is difficult at Old Trafford at the moment and Nevin believes Van Gaal's "terrible" communication is not helping matters. He says, "It’s not his first language, which is fair enough but his mode of communication always comes across as arrogant."
Along with that, Pat says, "I’m bored watching Man United," and believes that there is a section of the fans that would accept a third place finish if it meant their club played exciting football.
In relation to Liverpool and Klopp thanking the fans after a relatively poor draw with West Brom, Pat thinks, "When you do it when it doesn't feel right, when the manager doesn't read it right, it’s a total nightmare."
He continues, "You must understand the dynamic. If you get the dynamic wrong, it is a massive, massive mistake and it will turn against you immediately. If you do it every week, it will come and haunt you."
And finished, "Understand the timing, understand when it’s right, get the feeling and catch the feeling."
