Jurgen Klopp has added Georginio Wijnaldum to his side as a deal to sign the midfielder has been agreed between the two clubs.
The fee is believed to be in the region of £25 million, as Liverpool confirmed the news on Friday evening via their Twitter account.
In a short message, Wijnaldum said "I'm really happy that I can play for such a big club with a great history, and I'm looking forward to playing at Anfield."

Wijnaldum, who was relegated with Rafa Benitez's Newcastle side at the end of last season, has signed a five-year deal with the Merseyside club.
He is expected to join up with Klopp's team, who are on their pre-season tour in the United States, in the coming days.
Speaking to The Chronicle, Newcastle managing director Lee Charnely said that the deal was in the best interests of both the club and player, saying: "We made it very clear at the beginning of the summer that we had no need to sell for financial reasons, despite relegation, and would only consider selling a player if it was in the best interests of the club and the team.
"After discussions with Rafa it was felt that this particular deal was one such circumstance and would be in the best interests of both parties."
