Liverpool have announced the have agreed a deal to sign striker Danny Ings, subject to a medical.
Ings, who scored 11 goals for Burnley last season, was out of contract this summer, will be Liverpool's second signing of the off season. The Anfield club will have to pay compensation to Burnley, despite Ings signing on a free contract.
The striker had been linked with a move to Tottenham in the past few weeks, but the England Under 21 striker has decided to stay in the north of England with Liverpool.
He will be part of Gareth Southgate's squad in the European Under 21 Chmapionships later this month, and will expect to compete for a starting position at Anfield next season.
Ings, joins midfielder James Milner as Liverpool's new signings with more players expected to arrive throughout the summer.
